A beautiful Salt Spring scene, oozing with symbolism. The tone and texture of the weathered wood and rusting steel contrast with the fresh green growth which seems to be taking over.
It’s a great scene and one that I need to return to soon. This shot was taken without a tripod, at a very high ISO, in a hurry, at the beginning of a summer shower. This scene and the area around it deserve a couple of hours of serious shooting; and I look forward to finding the time and weather to do that!
