This was the view this morning along North End Road heading toward Ganges. The ice is gone and it looked like a summer day with a great sky but with our patented racing-stripe fog.
We lose a car or two each year along this stretch; it’s best not to gawk too long.
We don’t get a lot of winter here on Salt Spring Island. I kind of like the cold clear mornings; we get enough of the rainy grey stuff!
