Frost and soft winter pastels were on the menu at St. Mary Lake this morning.
And that marks the end of the cold snap of 2017. I saw a few folks skating over the water-covered ice on Cusheon Lake today, but I’ve put away the snow shovel and exchanged down for Gortex.
I just can’t bring myself to head out in search of dreary downpour images—at least not yet—stay tuned.
One more thing, I’ve been forgetting to paste in the text below on images that deserve to printed to be appreciated. So I’ve started again with this image. Just because I think it’s unique and beautiful. (Don’t forget I see the images on 5K colour balanced monitor; you might wonder why I get carried away sometimes…but the images get greatly reduced in size and quality when posted on the web.)
